By registering for a Glassline account, accepting an invitation to join an organization on Glassline, or otherwise using the Glassline platform ("Service"), you ("User") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using Glassline on behalf of an organization ("Organization"), you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and the organization.
If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
Glassline is a decision governance platform that enables organizations to create structured, scored, and immutable decision records. The Service allows teams to define decision questions with options and evaluation criteria, scored against a configurable evaluation method; assign contributors to score options privately; aggregate scores and surface agreement and disagreement signals; lock decisions into permanent organizational memory records ("Snapshots") that record the final selected option; capture outcome retrospectives and link decisions to strategic objectives, with alignment reporting and exportable PDF reports for organization administrators; and share decision records internally, via PDF export, and externally via controlled access, including optional public shareable links (see Section 6.4).
To use the Service, you must register with a valid email address and create a password, or accept an invitation from an organization already using Glassline. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, please notify us immediately via our contact form (select Support as the reason).
You may not create multiple accounts or share account credentials with another person.
When you register, Glassline creates a workspace Organization linked to your account and designates you as its administrator. You may invite additional users to your organization subject to your plan's limits.
Glassline offers subscription plans (Free, Team, Enterprise) with different feature and quota limits. Plan limits are enforced at application level. Glassline reserves the right to modify Free plan limits with 30 days' notice.
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access until then. No refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period except as required by applicable law. If a paid invoice is not settled within 14 days, Glassline may suspend access; an account unpaid for 60 days may be terminated and the data retention period in Section 4.3 begins.
Following subscription cancellation, your organizational data is retained for 90 days. During this period you may export your data. After 90 days, all organizational data is permanently deleted from Glassline's systems.
You may use Glassline solely for lawful organizational decision-making purposes. You may not attempt unauthorized access to other organizations' data or Glassline's infrastructure, reverse-engineer the Service, upload malicious content, resell or sublicense access without our written consent, or use the Service for unlawful data processing or to store unlawful content.
Glassline may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice depending on severity; serious violations may result in immediate termination and notification to relevant authorities.
When an organization locks a decision in Glassline, the Service generates an immutable Snapshot: a permanent record of the complete decision including all participant contributions, scores, and results at the moment of locking.
Snapshots cannot be modified, overwritten, or deleted after creation. This is a core and deliberate feature, not a limitation. If a user exercises their right to erasure under GDPR, Glassline will anonymize their personal identity across all Snapshots, replacing their display name with "[Deleted User]". The structural content is retained anonymously.
Contributors' display names, scores, optional rationale text, and the decision's final selected option (including the basis for that selection, where it differs from the top-ranked option) are embedded in the Snapshot at the time of locking.
A decision owner or organization administrator may generate a public, unauthenticated shareable link to a Locked decision's Snapshot. Anyone with the link β including people outside your organization β can view it, including participant display names, scores, and rationale text, without a Glassline account. The link can be revoked at any time by the owner or an administrator.
The organization is responsible for informing its members that participation in decisions may create permanent organizational records β including records that may be shared externally via a public link as described in Section 6.4 β before inviting them to use the Service.
All decision content, OKRs, attachments, and other organizational data you create in Glassline ("Customer Data") is owned by you or your organization. Glassline claims no intellectual property rights over Customer Data. You grant Glassline a limited license to store and process Customer Data solely to provide the Service; this license terminates when your data is deleted.
The Glassline platform itself β its software, scoring methodology, user interface, branding, and documentation β is Glassline's intellectual property. If you send us feedback or suggestions about the Service, you grant us the right to use it without restriction or compensation.
When you use Glassline within an organizational context, you act as a data controller and Glassline acts as a data processor. Processing is carried out in accordance with Glassline's Privacy Policy and any executed Data Processing Agreement (DPA); Enterprise customers must execute a DPA before organizational personal data is processed. To request a DPA, use our contact form and select Privacy as the reason.
Glassline treats all Customer Data as confidential. We will not disclose it to third parties except as required to provide the Service (the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy), as directed by you, or as required by law. We will notify you promptly if we receive a legal or governmental request for your Customer Data, to the extent permitted by law.
Glassline provides the Service on an "as available" basis without guaranteeing uninterrupted or error-free operation, particularly on the Free plan. Free plan users may access community documentation and best-effort email support; paid plans receive priority or dedicated support as agreed in their contract.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." GLASSLINE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, GLASSLINE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM OR EUR 100. IN NO EVENT SHALL GLASSLINE BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Glassline and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, Customer Data that infringes third-party rights or violates applicable law, or your failure to comply with your obligations as a data controller under Section 8.
These Terms remain in effect until your account is terminated. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting your account, which begins the 90-day data retention period. Glassline may suspend or terminate your account for breach of these Terms, non-payment (Section 4.2), as required by law, or if we discontinue the Service (with 60 days' notice and a reasonable opportunity to export your data). Provisions that by their nature should survive termination β including Sections 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, and 14 β remain in effect.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece and the European Union. The courts of Athens, Greece shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms, except that Glassline may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or confidential information. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer where applicable.
Glassline may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes by email and by posting a notice in the application. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms; if you do not accept them, you may terminate your account before the effective date.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any executed DPA, are the entire agreement between you and Glassline and supersede any prior agreements. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force, and our failure to enforce a provision on one occasion does not waive our right to enforce it later. You may not assign these Terms or your account without our written consent; Glassline may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of its assets. These Terms are written in English, and the English version prevails over any translation.
For questions about these Terms, use our contact form and select Legal as the reason.
